The Kansas City Board of Public Utilities (BPU) is partnering with the Kansas Corporation Commission to provide no interest loans through the Efficiency Kansas Revolving Loan program to BPU customers. This new
Energy Smart Homes program allows a homeowner to borrow up to $20,000 for audit approved energy improvements.
The Unified Government (UG) of Wyandotte County is also providing a financial incentive program to help minimize out of pocket costs for applicants and to assist with the energy audit costs. This program allows homeowners to get an energy audit worth up to $600, for just $100.
